Olatoun Gabi-Williams is the Managing Director of Selina Group. The group comprises a business centre, computer training centre, employment bureau, media services division and a travel agency, Selina Travels, an IATA licensed agency since 1997. Selina Travels is a Virgin Travel Partner and British Airways Gold Award Winner.

Olatoun Williams is also the founder and Executive Director of the children’s charity, Sponsor A Child, which has successfully promoted child welfare in Nigerian institutions, particularly orphanages, since 2003. Recently, she founded Border’s Book Reviews, an independent, media-based, live project from Selina Media. The project was conceived to promote the reading culture in Nigeria and Africa and to promote the reading of African books worldwide.

Ms. Williams was educated at Northwood College, Middlesex, and at the University of Bristol, UK, from which she graduated with a BA(Hons) in French. She holds a certificate in Italian language and literature from the Art and Business School (ABS) Villa Montalto, Florence, Italy. (Villa Montalto has since become a science institute). As founder/executive director of Sponsor A Child, through the provision of resource centres and playgrounds, she has reached over 3,000 children in institutions and orphanages. Through training seminars for the delivery of rights based child welfare services, she has reached over 400 members of the child care workforce nationwide. Ms. Williams has also served as a member of Ogun State Task Team (SST) for the implementation of functional School Based Management Committees (Schools Reform).

A published author, literary reviewer, television presenter and a child rights advocate, she is also chairman of the Editorial Board of Victoria Island Police Community Relations Committee, (PCRC) and a member of the Africa Book Group - a voluntary association of international women readers.
